It’s challenging to own a design company, tour as a singer-songwriter, spend real time each day as a father and husband, try to get out of college debt, plan for a new album and tour, invest into the community and neighborhood.

I love it, but it’s challenging.

All that to say, we’re writing for a new album…playing around town through December and January. The plan is to record a new EP in Feb, do a Pacific NW tour at the end of Feb-beginning of March, release the album in April with a SF album release party followed by a short CA tour. That’s the plan.

We’re going to record the album live (old-school-style) in our home here in San Francisco. 6 or 7 songs. We’re also hoping to shoot the entire process on video and have the amazing Daley Hake put together an accompanying DVD to go with the new album.

Our upcoming tour will be Holly and I…no Jared or Dan. Jared has been detained by the Campbell Militia and Daniel up and R-U-N-N-O-F-T to Kentucky. The part about Dan? Actually true. Yip.

Steve Joh joined us last weekend at the Brickhouse. He shot some good photos and played some lovely mandolin. Hoping he’ll join us again in December and January when we’re back in CA.
